IML (in-mould labeling) ROBOT

The term ‘in mould labeling’ is directly delivered from the technique, pre printed labels are placed in mold. Now a day it is fastest-growing decorative processes for Plastic packaging industries. Compared to paper label IML really enhances the product because the label cannot be damaged by humidity. This mold has shape of the end product. Then the molten PP is added to the mould. It fuses with labels and while curing takes the shape of the mould. Resulting label and packing becomes one and final product get developed.

IML also reduces secondary handling and prevents potential contamination. After molding, it is ready for packing. Then from the injection molder it is sent straight to the filling plant. That’s why it is hygienic.
